Gnawa's festival :music from another world

every year, the fabulous city of Mogador consecrates his lane maze, of beautiful beaches and vibrating public places of the music.  In some years, the city became the response of the Morocco to Woodstock.

2011 marked the opening of a new place, the Bastion of Bab Marrakesh.  After the success of the exposition 1999 organized one for the party and organized by Nawal Slaoui, to the ground floor of the Bastion became later a space of exposition of Essaouira.  On the initiative of the organizers of the Festival, the idea of the restoration of this structure of the 19th century was discussed, in particular the floor and the terrace in order to do a scene in the open with a capacity of welcome of 650.  Conducted jointly by the ministry of the Culture and city of Essaouira, the renovationof the Bastion injects a breath of a new life in the bastion, and the city benefits from a space of worthy recreation of his picture of prestige.
